What is the benefit of having a water filter in my fridge?
The PuriClean Filter UKF7003AXX removes the following impurities
from your drinking water:

- It is also reported to improve the clarity of the water.
- This filter does NOT remove Fluoride.
- Overall, it provides better tasting and smelling water with improved clarity.
Changing the filter regularly in your ice/water refrigerator also reduces the build-up of scale in your ice-making mechanism thereby reducing the need for costly services.
The UKF7003AXX cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 42.
How do I install my new filter?
Installing your new water filter:
- Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise.
- Pull the filter straight down and discard (The water will shut off
- Push the new filter up into the fridge until it stops.
- Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise.
- Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one).
Resetting your "change filter" light:
- Press and hold the lock and light buttons (lock and water on newer fridges) on the dispenser for about 4 seconds, until the
indicator light blinks.
