The DA29-00003 series refrigerator water fIlter has a number of compatible options available for replacement.
All these filters are interchangeable and offer similar specifications. These fridge filters are designed to have a 6
month life and can be stored for many years when not used. Many of these designs were developed when the
patent expired on the original manufacturer's product. All are of a high standard and meet the Australian Plumbing
Guidelines. The products that don't have to be purchased through Samsung generally cost less.

What is the benefit of having a water filter in my fridge?
The Aqua-Pure Plus Filter DA29-00003 series Samsung fridge filter removes the following impurities from your drinking water:
99% of Lead, 94-97% of Mercury, 99 of Asbestos, 90% of Benzene, 99% of P-Dichlorobenzene, 99% of Cysts,
99% of Carbofuran, 97% of Chlorine and 98% of rust, dirt, sand and sediment (0.5 to 1 micron in size).
- It is reported to improve the clarity of drinking water by 99%.
- These filters do NOT remove Fluoride.
Changing the filter regularly in your ice/water refrigerator also reduces the build-up of scale in your ice-making
mechanism thereby reducing the need for costly services.
Overall, it provides better tasting and smelling water with improved clarity.
The DA29-00003series cartridges is tested to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53.
How do I install my new filter?
- Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise.
- Pull the filter straight down and discard (the water will shut off automatically).
- Push the new filter up into the fridge until it stops.
- Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise.
- Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one).
Resetting your "change filter" light:
- Press and hold the ice type(or moisture control) and child lock buttons (at the same time) for 3 seconds - the light should turn green.
- Some newer buttons require the power freeze and ice type to be pressed silmutaneously.
